Onathimirppu 2026 – Onam Cooking Competition is part of the Onathimirppu 2026 Onam Celebrations at Mall of Travancore. The competition invites talented food enthusiasts to showcase their culinary skills, creativity and signature dishes as part of the Onam celebrations.

Participants can compete for three prizes: the First Prize of ₹5,000 plus a Gift Hamper worth ₹5,000, the Second Prize of ₹3,000 plus a Gift Hamper worth ₹2,000, and the Third Prize of ₹2,000 plus a Gift Hamper worth ₹1,000. Entries will be judged based on taste, presentation, creativity and overall execution, with the judges' decision being final and binding.

Registration is mandatory and costs ₹500 per participant. The registration fee is non-refundable. Participants must report before the scheduled start time and bring their own induction cooktop, groceries, ingredients, cooking materials, utensils and other necessary equipment. Mall of Travancore will provide only the power supply. Participants must maintain cleanliness and hygiene at their cooking station and follow all safety instructions provided by the event organisers.
